Say hello to 24-year-old Thomas McDonell who currently stars in the Disney teen comedy Prom. Rolling Stone has called him one of the Hottest Breakout Stars of 2011!
In the film Thomas plays Jesse, who he describes as ?the outsider character, sort of a loner. He has trouble and problems with his family and gets in fights but he?s not a bad guy. He?s just misunderstood by the school. He doesn?t like school but doesn?t know what he likes, exactly. He doesn?t want to be in school. He wants to graduate but doesn?t know what he wants to do when he does.?

Thomas got his start acting on television when he appeared in an episode of Law & Order: Criminal Intent in 2010.
McDonnell has just been cast as a young Johnny Depp in the forthcoming Tim Burton film Dark Shadows, which seems like perfect casting to me.
