Country star Trace Adkins? home was reportedly completely destroyed by fire, but his wife and children escaped from the home unharmed.
Country singer Trace Adkins? family home of 11 years was lost in a fire over the weekend.
The country singer was on a flight to Alaska and was notified by security at the airport gate.
Adkins? wife Rhonda had gone out to run errands, leaving her children at home with a babysitter.� She was three minutes away from her house when she saw the smoke.
The babysitter quickly got the children and the dogs out of the house, and dialed 9-1-1. The girls enacted a safety plan they family had arranged if the house ever caught on fire.
Rhonda said of the incident, ?I?m just numb.� I?m sad because we lost irreplaceable things like all Trace?s awards and our family photos.?
But Trace?s wife adds, ?It?s just stuff. You can replace things, not people. I?m just glad that my children are safe.?
