That would be SO cool!
Kings of Leon has shared that the band has been asked by Agent 007 himself, Daniel Craig, to write and perform a version of the quintessential Bond movie theme for the latest installment of the franchise.
In fact, he's asked THREE times!
Drummer Nathan Followill revealed Craig's persistence in a recent interview when the subject was brought up, saying:
"Hmm Daniel Craig has asked me before. I have turned him down 3 times already but maybe."
Although that response doesn't give us much hope for the band ACTUALLY doing it, frontman Caleb Followill is a little more optimistic , saying:
"I've always wanted to work with strings though so maybe yeah, that'll be a good excuse."
Yes! That would be a perfect excuse!
We think Kings of Leon would be a fantastic choice to follow in the footsteps of artists like Jack White, Alicia Keys, Chris Cornell, Madonna, Sheryl Crow, Tina Turner, and Bono who have all written or performed a signature Bond song in the past.
Do U think Kings of Leon should seriously consider accepting Daniel Craig's request?
