In his first message to fans since a near-fatal jet ski accident in late May, Sean Kingston said he is on the mend.
"Feeling alot better!" the young singer wrote on Twitter Sunday.
Kingston, who was steering the watercraft in Miami with a passenger on board when he crashed into a bridge, showed no sign of lost faith, writing "GOD IS GREAT!"
"Thanks for all the prayers and support!" he added. "Love you ALL!"
Along with the tweet, Kingston posted a photo of himself giving the peace sign in what appeared to be his hospital room.
The 21-year-old was rushed to the trauma center at a local hospital following the accident on May 29, where he was classified as in critical condition.
Passenger Cassandra Sanchez told TMZ.com they were moving "so fast" shortly before the crash occurred and said Kingston might have lost control of the jet ski when trying to turn away from the bridge at the last minute.
Sanchez, who said she had no intention of pressing charges over what she called "an accident," was treated and released from the hospital, suffering just soreness in her ribs and jaw.
Kingston, however, was unable to open his eyes for two days and needed to have a breathing tube placed down his throat for several more.
According to the Miami Herald, he suffered from water in his lungs as well as a broken jaw and fractured wrist.
On June 6, Kingston took his first steps since the accident and was able to breathe on his own. His condition was upgraded to serious.
Prior to the accident, Kingston had tweeted about partying in Miami, but police said alcohol did not play a role in the crash.
His Twitter account remained quiet in the aftermath, though celebrity pals like Justin Bieber used the social networking site to send prayers and well-wishes.
