Just days after they were reported to have split, Johansson, 26, and Penn, 50, looked like quite the happy couple at Spike's Guys Choice Awards on Saturday.
The pair, who began dating in February, smiled as they posed arm-in-arm by a makeshift bar set up backstage.
According to gossip blogger Jared Eng of JustJared.com, Penn "gave her a big kiss when he saw her."
And Johansson gave him one of her own before they parted, Eng tweeted.

Us Weekly reported a somewhat different version, with the magazine's source noting that the stars weren't "weren't flirty or anything, but they did seem to get along."
A second witness, however, claimed "there was some tension" when the actress unexpectedly joined Penn's conversation with Robert De Niro.
On Thursday, a source told People the couple had broken up, but did not provide a reason.
The actors never verbally confirmed their relationship, but were photographed engaging in various forms of PDA over the last few months ? and it seems one more instance can be added to the list.
