Lily Allen is the subject of an upcoming TV documentary premiering in the U.K. on March 15.

Since suffering a miscarriage while six months pregnant last fall, Lily Allen has kept a limited public profile.

But the British singer is finally ready to open up about her devastating loss.

In the upcoming documentary series, "Lily Allen: From Riches to Rags," the 25-year-old discusses her difficult pregnancy, which had followed an earlier miscarriage in 2008.

"It was a really long battle," Allen said, according to London's Daily Mail, "and I think that kind of thing changes a person."

In the interview, the music artist also revealed she has struggled with an eating disorder.

"It's not something I'm proud of," she said. "But, I tell you what, a lot of people came up to me telling me how great I looked and I'd be on the cover of every magazine."

"I thought I looked good and it was great to be able to try on clothes and feel a million dollars," Allen explained. "But I wasn't happy. I really wasn't."

The three-part series, which premieres in the U.K. on March 15, also examines Allen's relationship with her sister, Sarah, and their quest to open their clothing store, Lucy in Disguise.

Allen, who became engaged to boyfriend Sam Cooper in December, met with Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld on Tuesday to discuss her wedding gown.

After Allen's engagement, a source told Daily Mail that "it has been a terrible time for Lily and Sam, but they are totally in love with one another."

"It all came out of the blue - but Lily was overwhelmed and they are both overjoyed," the insider added. "They can look to the future now."
